random another tightrope... prt 3

... she dance on sure footed...
as she the other side she stopped abruptly,
turned ,
tippy toed with graceful flow
back to the middle of the tightrope
she stopped...on the high wire
& in loud voice she called to all...

have you enjoyed my little dance...
did you like to see me prance...
what were your thoughts when i slipped...
& hung along so long, with toe tight grip...
did you pray i'd get back up on track...
or did you hope i'd tumble down,
fall to the ground
my head all cracked...
& dance no more...
like a broken rag doll on the floor...
did you pause to wonder
what my thought were there
as i dangled,
frightened...
alone...
suspended up in the air...
thinking perhaps...
that you didn't care...

well you should know,
that I believed in you...
for surely... what else could I do...
but cling on to my faith in you...

feeling like you didn't care...
oft'times filled me with despair...
for what survives without care...

but now Iv come to the conclusion...
perhaps my faith in you was just ilusion...
cos i have heard  wispers loud...
floating up from amongst the crowd...
that I was wrong...
you didn't care...
so little point in me being here...

& with that she curtsied & bowed
to all the crowd...
spread her arms like wings...
turned ... pointed her toe...
& stepped of the wire...
into a swooping dive...
towards the crowd below...
who watched ....
 some frowning gasping ...
"oh no... oh no... oh no...
we didn't know..."
as she fell to land...
broken.. beyond repair...
leaving nothing more
but a trail of despair...
that hung forever in the air...
where no one
appeared to care...

random .. another tightrope prt 2...

...& so she dangled from the tightrope suspended
time passed...
hours into days...
days into months ...
months into year...
who knew how many...
for what is time
when your suspended within it?

The suddenly... one day
out of the blue...
some one shouted ... screamed...
"shes moved"
& those who'd been watching ...
waiting ...
to see how long it would be
before she fell...
looked up...
& there she was strutting
pirouetting & dancing...
accross the tightrope again...
like she had never slipped of it at all...

random thoughts ... Tribute to BILLY CONNOLLY

Last week  I was of line for a week due to the usual financial restraints!

On monday , i settled down to listen to a programme with Billy Connolly on the radio, as it happened The big yin had been mentioned on the news several times that day reporting on his prostate opp & diagnosis of Parkinson, when I heard the news I cant say I had any other thought than , well if any one can handle the news of that diagnosis its the big yin!
It wasnt a malitious thought, just one of them flyby ones....

I was a bit miffed that it turned out that the scheduled programme was actually a repeat of the week before, no one had thought to announce this.
They mentioned the illness again however, before the programme started & i think also at the end...
Billy's prostate probs where big news with the beeb!
which prompted another throw away thought on the subject...

I thought...

He's in his late sixties, he himself, has often spoke about the various things that can start tae go wrong as we age...
It could even be suggested the the Big Yin has been rehearsing for these times all his life...

If ever there was a man who had prepared him self and rehearsed for the onset of twitches, tics, funny walks & lots of tongue action hes yer man... I am sure he would say so himself.

Billy Connolly is a individual who will not only cope with his condition, he will do so with panche & character & the humor that he is.

I am a big Billy Connolly admirer. Billy Connolly has been an inspiration and teacher on my own journey through life, I have nothing but respect, , admiration & love for him.

I have laughed till i pee'd my pants at that man,
I have toured Scotland & the world with him from my armchair,
He has introduced me and showed me artisan art, cultural artifacts & architecture,

He has had my toe tapping and my voice howl as I sang along and enjoyed his musical performances,
made me smile & cry watching his various films, ( beautiful Joe, a particular favorite)
.
Billy Connolley inspired my writing & playing with words,
& he introduced me to Shakespeare when I was 15 & tried to re write the taming of the shrew in Glaswegian after listening to D.I.V.O.R.C.E.
He is the subject of one of my poems dedicated to another of my favourite Scotts, Robert Burns , I wrote it for a Burns night when I worked at the Harbour Arts Centre in Irvine.
Ode tae the Big yin!!! I have a copy somewhere , I look it out and post it at a later date. Its my tribute to his inspiration that made me write, which I love and find very therapeutical.

His story telling is an art form that raises awareness of so many issues, & he approaches his subject  with humour, in a masterly enthralling, educational, manner that you don't even realize your being taught but makes you soak in every detail cos he makes it interesting with  his enthusiasm & passion  which is reflected in his interaction.
I adore him , he is a god.

So, yeah, I wish him every good thing & health ...
and thank him with much sincerity for every smile he has gave me & woes he has helped me through,
evey thing he has taught me & showed me & every joy he has brought me...

& lang may he dance gayly naked round standing stones & ride his bike in nothing but his boots & hat...

For he is the pride of Glasgow &as crazy as moon in june ...

Fukushima

I get fairly upset & emotional when I read or see footage regarding the Fukushima disaster, I am not a religious person , far from it, but I think of the biblical line from Jesus on the cross,

"Father forgive them they know not what they do" ( luke 23.34)

but, its not accurate, in this case because , those involved in the Fukushima disaster did know, they just didn't seem to care....

I, for years was like most people, fairly lacks as far as appreciating our beautiful , wonderful planet...
Sure I noticed its beauty , enjoyed the nice days, moaned about the once that didn't please me so much...
but then i began to appreciate them too...

I began to notice, think about how wonderful it really is,
I'd stop to watch a snail going his buisness his house on his back,, or bee collecting poplin...

I'd enjoy a walk in the rain & the smell of the atmosphere in town or country...
there is beauty & wonder to be found in all things..
even the sound of silence
cos there is no real silence.

Fukushima is a humanitarian disaster that clearly reflects the negligence of both government & corporate industry in regard of mans inhumanity to man, and not just to man, but to the planet...

& this from people in power, generally with a tendency to claim  profound religious believe & respect of the "GOD  concept"

Men & woman who profess to believe in the Genesis story & creation,
the garden of Eden, a representation of gods beautiful creation
and all that it contains to sustain mankind, his creation, gifted to us to care for & enjoy...

Men & woman who attend church or the mosque or where ever they worship their god of all creation, & who break his most  holy law "thou shalt not kill..." (Exodus 20).

Men & woman who believe in the power & the glory as pertaining to the christian lords prayer.
Mathew chapter 6 verse 9-13.

our father who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name , thy kingdom come,
they will be done in earth as it is in heaven.
give us this day our daily bread ,
 and forgive us our debts
as we forgive our debtors.
 lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil,
for thine is the kingdom the power & the glory ,
for ever & ever Amen.

For two long years since the 7th April 2011, over 740 days, those in  power from government & Tepco (Tokyo Electric Power Company) negligently , ignored the radiation leak into the pacific ocean & lied & covered up the facts of the risks , dangers & levels of contamination that was to , & will, affect the food chain & enviroment of the entire globe.

Frankly & not to put to fine a point on the facts , they have affected the death, the  murder, the possible destruction of the entire planet as we know it.

The have put beyond trillions of trillions of life forms , human, animal, vegetable mineral & orgasmic, at risk & in danger.

I don't doubt the earth, the planet will survive.,
Nor do I think we will all die real soon, some will, some wont,
life will a least carry on as usual for most people...

but life as we know just might not go the distance...

The have ignited the evolution of the world into a much more dangerous & toxic place & this will affect generations to come.

In time technology, science, medicine & even our own physical evolution may adapt to suit,
but before that many will have lived shorter life's,
 lives with pain & decease,
cancer...
& children with painful deformations will be born

This as a result of  HUMAN negligence & lies.
This as a result of HUMAN greed, & ambition.
This as a result of Human error.
This as a result of Mans callous neglect & inhumanity towards his fellow man.
This as a result of Mans lust for power & glory.

I don't know what the answers are to save the planet, but I believe we must try...

I don't know the answers to fixing Fukushima & doing all we can to limit future damage everywhere
but I believe it is something the global community must tackle together & must unit to tackle fast,
 in every way necessary...

We must reach out a hand in friendship to help those with intimidate needs, those already in immediate area, and those who may face dangers as a result of what could happen over the coming months as a result of weather and the ongoing dangers already happening in the damaged plant area or future dangers that may arise.

We must stop ignoring the problem and address it,
and we must consider the dangers that nuclear energy plants across the globe pose as a risk and danger to health & safety

& we must not only consider our options with realistic risk assessment, but we must act acordingly irrespective of financial cost, or possible hardship it might mean , we must adapt to that.

Perhaps, it is a time to consider that instead of wasting money in the killing fields of war,
we use money to preserve life.. as opposed to killing it...

Perhaps the lesson we now learn is that to preserve live on earth ,
whoever, whatever or however it was created,
we must work together, ...
and there is a lot of work needs doing ,
 which will provide work...
 without war...

We must at least try to safe our beautiful planet with all its wonderful & beautiful species...
 including Homo-sapiens,
if we could just learn to tolerate all our diversities, differences & individuality's
and just make the effort get alone together, without hate, war, & greed.
for the sake of mankind...
& mother earth.

random on...ANOTHER TIGHTROPE ...

There were gasps from those looking on as she slipped...
& some whispered
"who would have believed such a loud roar
could come from the voice of such a tiny creature"
as she fell...screaming
FUUUCK OFFFFF...
as her tiny pinky toe curled,
clinging to the tightrope...
as she hung suspended...
waiting...
gathering the strength...
to pull her self back up,
find her balance ...
& continue the dance...

Grant Sharp Requuel Rolnik & the bedroom tax ... A REFLECTION ON 2DAYS NEWS

In todays news there has been much said about the scathing report by UN special rapporteur Raquel Rolnik regarding the bedroom tax.

In an article in the Telegraph Grant Shapps, "Conservative Party chairman, accused Miss Rolnik of bias and questioned how she felt justified in criticizing British government policy when 50 million people have inadequate housing in her own country."

I suggest she is justified to comment,  that is her job, in her role as the special rapporteur on housing, a role I imagine she has because of expertise and experience in the housing sector as a former urban planning minister in Brazil.
Her former role provided her with insight & experience of the social and health issues involved, or does Grant Sharp hold her personally responsible for the 50 million people in Brazil who have inadequate housing, because frankly that would just be stupid.

Sharp comments in the article  “This report is an absolute disgrace and I’m going to be writing to the UN Secretary General today to ask serious questions including how this came about.

"How it is that a woman from Brazil, a country that has 50m people in inadequate housing, has come over, failed to meet with any government ministers, with any officials from the Department of Work and Pensions or even to refer to the policy by its accurate name anywhere in the report at all.

Might I suggest  that firstly it is not necessary to meet goverment ministers to research the policies & preprocessed involved in the bedroom tax, the information is freely available online, at Uk gove legislation.

http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2012/5/contents/enacted

http://www.disabilityrightsuk.org/how-we-can-help/benefits-information/law-pages/acts-and-regulations/welfare-reform-act-2012

http://www.lbbd.gov.uk/AdviceBenefitsAndEmergencies/HousingBenefit/Pages/HousingBenefitchanges2013.aspx

 http://www.housing.org.uk/policy/welfare-reform/bedroom-tax

https://www.gov.uk/housing-benefit/what-youll-get

Additionally there are numerous citations regarding the impact it is having, and expected to have from various sources, from academics, sociologist, economist all with special knowledge in  housing & within the social health & welfare field & all reflect a negative opinion of the "additional room subsidy" .

How pompous & frankly ridiculous that  Mr Sharp stated that  "her intervention as an "abuse of process" and said she had failed to meet with any ministers or government officials responsible for the policy:

Perhaps its fair to suggested that in light of the reputation of Uk Members of Parliament & their reflected lack of honestly when it comes to housing issues, as reflected by the many, many, fraudulent claims made across the board  political party specter in the UK that was expose by the expenses scandal
 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_expenses_claims_in_the_United_Kingdom_parliamentary_expenses_scandal
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/mps-expenses/

when it became widely available via the media and internet that MP's were strewing the arse out the UK coffers, for 2end home mortgages, their furniture, their utility bills & their ponds & paddocks!!

Maybe that is why that Ms Rolnik saw little point in discussing the matter with such a deviant bunch of criminals despite their parliamentary titles, when their behaviors & public records reflect  lack of integrity, and what a a bunch of out right fraudulent thieving bunch of lying bastards they are.

Perhaps that was why she went straight to the people affected by these shoddy shady criminal policies.

In an interview with The Guardian, Rolnik said

“the most vulnerable, the most fragile, the people who are on the fringes of coping with everyday life” were being hit hard by the policy.
“My immediate recommendation is that the bedroom tax is abolished,” .

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights artcle 25, includes housing as part of the “right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of self and family”

Ms Rolnik goes on to say ;
“I was very shocked to hear how people really feel abused in their human rights by this decision and why - being so vulnerable - they should pay for the cost of the economic downturn, which was brought about by the financial crisis"

Ironic &t insulting,  that  a presumptions spokesperson from  Department for Work and Pensions  said it was ”surprising to see these conclusions being drawn from anecdotal evidence and conversations after a handful of meetings - instead of actual hard research and data“.

Perhaps this spokesperson is unaware of the information on line & available via freedom of information, documents available on line and the other aforementioned citations available for research that one would expect an United Nations special rapporteur on housing to research in the course of her duties, before speaking to those affected by various policies & proceedures, or indeed those implementing  them.

 The spokes person for the Department for Work and Pensions went on to say;

"Britain has a very strong housing safety net and even after our necessary reforms we continue to pay over 80 per cent of most claimants' rent if they are affected by the ending of the spare room subsidy,"

I guess they are unaware of the the fact that  homelessness has risen by 18% as reported by shelter.
Maybe they need to learn more about how one goes about researching in the course of their occupation particularly if they have a duty of care in their job description as a social care provider.

MY LEGACY ... a poem from the Hethen collection

I have a legacy of which I am proud,
With bright smiling faces & voices loud…
Sometimes wi teeth bucking…
Sometimes wi eyes squint…
But always with sparkle.., twinkle..., and glint…

There pockets may b empty
But they’ll gie ye a wee bit…
Although sometimes they may call u
 A fuckin stupid old twit…

They may be wee bastards
But hey ho what the fuck
They may well get lucky
And shit on by a duck…

My legacy is one of origins unknown
But our hearts r true, not made of stone…
We understand what is meant by the word humane
And we ain’t no strangers 2 that known as pain…
Although often we may b called inzane…

And u may ware us down, but we don’t give a fuck
Cos in freedoms song our souls r stuck…
We know about treachery & recognize deceit
Nor r we ashamed of the dirt on our feet…

We believe in community & represent what is right
And have complete understanding of our own plight…
We r common & worthy, happy & gay
We know of the difference between shovel & spade…
We know all about the gun & the blade…
And of course how the profits of industry r made…
We r Individuals who know ‘bout the games that  r played…

We know of betrayal & ken hammer and nail…
And we know how it feels 2 carry a bail
And despite all the bullshit we r clever as well …
So u cannae defeat us cos we’ll see u in hell…

We believe & have faith in justice, honor & truth
Support 4 the elderly, the sick & our youth…
We don’t line our pockets with the strife of the weak…
Or cover our arses with more lies & deceit.

So you can keep us in poverty
And tell us we’re bad…
And try to brainwash us to thinking we’re mad …
And definitely drive us to feeling real sad…
But you can’t take our souls, though u may take our lives
Cos 2 freedoms song there’s an A & B side….

On which mother earth & old father moon
Sing along with us, 2the sun…freedoms tune…
& the stars join the chorus in triumphant refrain…
& the trees join in dancing with the wind & the rain…
& all of our souls in freedom rejoice…
Cos freedoms song has a very loud voice…
& it’s all about choice…
In which there’s a fire enlightening the spirit
With the warmth of the common people whose hearts are in it…

THIS NIGHT AS I... a poem from the Hethen collection ( written a couple or few yrs back)

 THIS NIGHT AS I...

This night as I lie down to die…Daddy…  hear my woeful cry…
Mummy…  hold my sweaty hand…Help me please to understand…
My head alas is all fucked up…And frankly I don’t give a fuck…
I’ve tried my best to do what’s right got myself in heaps of shite…
There’s no one here give me advice  feel like I’m stuck in the vice…
There no one I can trust like you So, what the fuck am I supposed to do…
I won’t lie down and be a loser…Cos u said I should be a chooser…
But I’m all proper out of choices …and fucked off with my friends the voices…
So what path do you suggest I take…When everything in life feels fake…

reply to previous corrispondance from Brian Donohoe MP central ayrshire regarding war crimes & duty of care & responsability

Mr Donohoe,
Once again thank you for your speedy response to my last communication regrading chemical weapons & war crimes.

In your reply to that communication, you suggests you are unsure of the points I made with regard to war crimes, Tony Blair and duty of care & responsibility, so I reply in an attempt to clarify these point for you, and hopefully make it clear what I understand to be your duty of care & responsibility, to not just your constituents but the wider public in your role as an MP, a role which it is my belief, provides you with a good salary and expenses, from the public coffers into which tax payers contribute.

Firstly, let me explain, my academic background is within the social care sector, where I studied Health & Social Welfare, Social policy & latterly European social policy, at Degree level, although I received my FDA for my 1st two years, I was unable to complete my final year at BA level due to health issue which affected my ability to attend university & complete my Studies.
None the less I have a sound knowledge of the subject & the acts of law & policies procedures relevant.

So, let me first address the point you say you don't understand regarding Duty of care & responsibility, and be clear about the point I was making.

Duty of care is paramount in the role of social health & welfare.

In your role as an MP, you play a fundamental role in insuring the policies and procedures of social policy & government are in the best interest of the public, your constituents & indeed the wider public as a whole.

Politics, are of course, the activities associated with the governance of a country or area, and as such are concerned with a whole range of sectors, all relate to social health & social care which include,

1. Personal Care & Protection from risk of harm or danger, including mental health issues,

2. Social Care , which includes, housing, front-line services, community resources, employment , defense & of course financial, & care of the economy...  to mention but a few, for example a "health nation is a wealth nations"...

So, the point I was making Mr Donohoe, is that, as a MP you have a duty of care & responsibility to the public to insure that the health & social care policies, and procedures of government, are in the best interest of the people & ecconomic good of the nation. Whither that be as a member of the party leading government, or in opposition.

Additionally, in your role as a representative of the people who have, or have not voted for you personally,
you have a duty  & responsibility to insure that legal presidencies, and acts of legislation are adhered to, and not just nationally but internationally, indeed, as a representative of the people who voted for you, your responsibility, in that context is to act impartially, irrespective of personal or party loyalties.

You have duty is to insure that the law is upheld & does not pose threat or risk to the public, nationally or internationally,  that Mr Donohoe,is your duty as a public servant and representative of the people, in a social care context.
Which is what being an MP means, you work for, and are paid, by us, the people of the nation, & your duty is to our Social health & welfare needs & the health of the nations economy,  & that includes protection from corruption in government, or by government leaders, what ever party, or whoever they may be.

Frankly Mr Donohoe, I find it rather alarming that you asked the question "Where does a “duty of care” apply in relation to Members of Parliament?" you should know the answer to that , you have a duty to know the answer to that.

Now to your next point of query regrading war crimes & Tony Blair.

You state in your reply "it is not the role of Members of Parliament to initiate criminal charges." I disagree.
It is the responsibility of any citizens to report and initiate legal action if there is suspicion or evidance to suggest a crime has been committed.

Good god , Mr Donohoe, where is your sense of ethic and moral compass?
The whole rhetoric  around which last weeks paramilitary vote regarding Syria, was based on the allegations that Assad had committed war crimes by using chemical weapons on his own people, & thus committed crimes against humanity.
Right now, the president of the USA is hell bent on starting world war 3 on these very allegations related to the use of chemical weapon & crimes against humanity, to date unproven allegations.

These are almost identical allegations that were made against Sadam Hussian, and were given as the reaon Tony Blair took the UK into the Iraq war, which saw an estimated 157,531 civilian deaths, & 4,802 US & Coalition military killed  between 2003–2011, http://www.theguardian.com/news/datablog/2012/jan/03/iraq-body-count-report-data
& that does not include those injured or displaced or who will suffer ongoing trauma (PST) as a result of that war, and you have the impertinence to ask me about the role of  “duty of care” applicable in relation to Members of Parliament, & suggest
It is not the role of an MP to initiate a complaint on their behalf of the public he serves.

Your role Mr Donohoe is one of public servant , as I have already stated,
your role Mr Donohoe is to protect the needs & welfare priorities of the people, nationally & internationally,
your role is to hold accountable those who seek to harm, or who have caused harm to the masses,
That is your duty, that is what you are paid for by the people, and that is what should come above any personal or party loyalty you have.

You have a duty to act in the best interest of the people in regard of all social & health issues, and you have a duty to do so irrespective  of your own political ideology, including bringing to justice those from your own party who are subject of suspicion and allegation of mal practice in office, or of committing war crimes and crimes against humanity.

That is your role in the context of protection Mr Donohue, and your political role apart , do you have sense of personal  moral obligation to uphold the law, & pursue justice and truth in regard of the allegations of war crimes against Tony Blair who was found guilty
by the Kuala Lumpur War Crimes Tribunal,( KLWCT) http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/2011/11/20111128105712109215.html
Granted, this may not have been an officially recognized international court room or tribunal, however those involved were people with recognized credentials & academics, and additionally they are not alone in these allegations, there have been many like them who have made testament, that Blair is indeed a war criminal & should be persuade accordingly for his crimes.

Furthermore, I find your comment that states "Tony Blair is no longer in Government" all but insulting.

Tony Blair may not be in government, however he still has an influential  role in government  as
Middle East peace envoy for the UN, US, EU and Russia, and has great influance on decision making  & as a lobbyist as has been reflected by  Mr Cameron who said Mr Blair "does lobby me from time to time on things like the Middle East peace process"

In conclusion Mr Donohoe, I hope I have now explained clearly the points you were unsure of regarding duty of care & responsibility.

I further hope that it have made my opinion clear as to why Tony Blair should be tried as a war criminal , but just to reiterate, and insure there is no misunderstanding of what I believe your legal duty as both MP & citizen are in this regard, let me refer you back to the points regarding the use of chemical weapons in Syria and last weeks vote, and remind you that Tony Blair was responsible for mis- leading the British public with regard to leading the UK into the Iraq war,
& involved in actions and behaviors widely documented in reliable accredited sites on the internet, including in the Iraq war diaries @Wikileaks.org  and, as is presented & clear from his testiment in the Chilcot enquiry http://www.iraqinquiry.org.uk/transcripts/oralevidence-bydate/110121.aspx.

As to your comment regarding what I expect from you Mr Donohoe,
well frankly, given the fact that you were unaware of what your responsibility and duty of care & responsibility are as an MP, which is reprehensible, I expect nothing from you, because frankly Mr Donohoe, you have clearly reflected you have nether the integrity or intelligent to hold the position you do.
 Thanks for your time.

Sincerely ,
June MacKendrick.

latest response from local Mp regarding chemical weapons & war criminal tony Blair, my reply to follow...

To: junei96
June, thank you for your e-mail about chemical weapons, which is far-ranging in content.

As you are probably aware Parliament was recalled last Thursday to discuss chemical weapons being used in Syria. The Prime Minister was proposing that the UK should take part in military action because of the use of chemical weapons, with the US and other western allies, against the Assad government in Syria. I voted against this proposal, because I did not see how the proposed action could be effective, and it was not clear what the ultimate goal was.

I am opposed to the use of chemical weapons, as we have previously discussed.

You raise the issue of pursuing a charge against Tony Blair under the general heading of “war crimes”, but it is not the role of Members of Parliament to initiate criminal charges. If there are people who have witnessed, or have evidence that a crime has been committed, it is up to them to make a complaint.  It is not the role of an MP to initiate a complaint on their behalf.

You make a point about a “duty of care and responsibility” to constituents in this context, but I do not understand how that would work. Where does a “duty of care” apply in relation to Members of Parliament? Tony Blair is no longer in Government, so I do not see what protection you are seeking from his actions.

Of course I seek to represent all constituents in my Parliamentary duties, regardless of whether they support me or not. But in this case, it is not clear what you are asking me to do, nor is it clear what the basis is for the action you are proposing.”

An Open Letter to Stephen Fry Chairman MIND

Dear Mr Fry,
I write to you as someone who has long admired your work with people with mental health issues, and all that you have done, and continue to do to raise awareness in regard of the serious issue people with mental health issues are faced with.

I also have great admiration for you stance speaking out against those who use religion as a tool of hatred, discrimination and war, and of course all your work as a gay rights activist, I am, without fear of contradiction one of your admirers, a fan.

However the purpose of this letter is not to sing your praises, or heep compliments on you, but to ask for your help with a matter of great concern to me, and I want you to know I make this request not out of malice or hatred but out of deep, deep concern for both the British people & indeed the people of the world.

I like many people have watched, sometimes with bewilderment , the actions & behaviors of our current prime minister, and his political leaning apart, I have grave concern regarding his metal stability.

I do not say this as a joke, or even as a lay person, because although I am neither physician or psychiatrist, I have considerable experience and knowledge regarding mental health issues, as both patient, practitioner with people with MH problems, and as  former undergraduate of Health and social welfare & social policy, during which time I studied & familiarized myself with the various acts of law related to health & welfare, policy & procedure, and in particular those related to mental health.
Indeed Mental Health was the subject of choice I based much of my university course work around as it was the career path I intended to follow.

Over the last 4 years I have observed with interest & ofttimes concern, the behavior patterns & actions of Mr Cameron, I have looked closely at his body language, his facial expression , I have listened carefully to his speeches, his debates & his interviews and taken note of his tone & language,& on occasions when he caught of guard , his reactions, and I strongly believe he has serious mental health issues.

In fact I would go as far as saying he is criminally insane, and most defiantly projects behaviors that are normally used in diagnosis of pathological behaviors.

As an ordinary member of the community , this could be a problem if undiagnosed and untreated, as a Prime Minister, this is a serious problem, that poses risk to not just the nation, but the international community, and something has got to be done to stop these risks to society.

Under the provisions of the Mental health act 1983  section 2 article 2b it states;
(2)An application for admission for assessment may be made in respect of a patient on the grounds that—
(a)he is suffering from mental disorder of a nature or degree which warrants the detention of the patient in a hospital for assessment (or for assessment followed by medical treatment) for at least a limited period; and
(b)he ought to be so detained in the interests of his own health or safety or with a view to the protection of other persons.

I believe under this provision on the basis of the facts I have already stated and indeed (b) with a view to the protection of other persons. that we have a moral duty to the people of this county & the world to have Mr Cameron detained in a metal health establishment in order that assessment and diagnosis to ascertain the level of his competence as prime minister, and indeed, not with standing the good of his mental health should he need treatment , which I strongly suspect he does.

As an ordinary citizen I have neither the power or the influance to make demands that David Cameron undergoes mental health assessment.
You, on the other hand , do have influance, and I am sure you have many contacts with professional credentials who could at very least verify if I have grounds for my concerns, and if they agree, could use their influance to have him undergo assessment , even if that has to be under medical section (F3)

F3(3)An application for admission for treatment shall be founded on the written recommendations in the prescribed form of two registered medical practitioners, including in each case a statement that in the opinion of the practitioner the conditions set out in subsection (2) above are complied with; and each such recommendation shall include—
(a)such particulars as may be prescribed of the grounds for that opinion so far as it relates to the conditions set out in paragraphs (a) and [F4(d)]F4 of that subsection; and
(b)a statement of the reasons for that opinion so far as it relates to the conditions set out in paragraph (c) of that subsection, specifying whether other methods of dealing with the patient are available and, if so, why they are not appropriate.

I am fully aware of the seriousness of what I have said , and believe me I make this plea to you to help me in all seriousness, this is not a joke, I truly believe there is serious cause for concern, and justifiable cause for assessment, at very least.
Mr Cameron poses a serious risk to the health and safety of others and surly this indicates a duty of care for the protection of other persons that gives justification for mental health assessment, not just on the grounds of his political behaviors which are obvious, but on the grounds of his personal behaviors that indicate he is quite probably psychotic & possibly pathologically.

So, Mr Fry, in conclusion I urge you to do what is necessary by using the influance you have as chairman of MIND & in your other capacities & get the necessary collaboration from your associates in the phyciatric & medical professions  in order to insure that Mr Cameron undergoes psychiatric assessment and diagnosis and if necessary the treatment to manage his mental health illness.

your sincerely ,
 June MacKendrick

latest corrispondance sent to MP today regarding chemical weapons, war crimes war criminals & accountability

Mr Donohoe,
Thank you for you speedy reply regarding the chemical weapons issue, I trust you will be as vigilant at keeping me up to date on how this progresses as you were regarding the issues we communicated on regarding the Stuart Hall case.

Now, I am sure you are aware of my position on the very serious issue regarding chemical weapons, indeed I would imagine you may have some inclination as to my position as a constituent, on the whole issue of war, and indeed, transparency  regarding the behaviors of government & accountability of government.

I am, of course aware, that we have many different opinions on the issues involved in this regard.

For instance I am aware that you voted moderately in favor of the Iraq war, and strongly against investigation into that war,
and of course this is cause for concern for me, coupled with your voting strongly against transparent government.

However you have a duty of office to represent people like me, your constituents, and therefore I feel it is relevant that I, as one of those constituents make you aware of my wishes as to how I wish my views to be represented.

In recent months,  indeed over the last 4 years , it has become clear though various reports & disclosures via leaks, that the public were kept very much in the dark regarding the Iraq & Afghan wars, not least via the Afghan war logs & Iraq war logs disclosed and exposed by Bradly Manning, and although I understand these revelations, leaks , may not sit well with you personally in light of how your votes in regard of the Iraq war, & indeed, tranparancy in government reflects,  I believe your duty is to represent constituents, and this should take precedence over your personal position on these issues.

With this in mind, I feel it is particularly important now, with these latest revelations regarding chemical weapons & chemical compounds used to produce these weapons being sold to unstable governments with poor human rights records by British companies with licenses granted by Vince Cables office, that the government is held accountable and the public is made aware clearly, as to what government has been doing in the name of the people.

It is clear that chemical weapons are regarded as weapons of mass destruction, indeed it was on the basis of this that Tony Blair took the UK into the Iraq war, and given what we now know about the UK governments behavior & indeed Mr Blair's position on that war as a result of the Chilcot Inquiry, I feel very strongly that there are still many question to be answered in regard of these issues , particularly in light of the latest discloser regarding the chemicals involved being licensed by sale by the UK government to UK based companies & it beggars the question as to were these same companies involved in selling weapons to Iraq, because it stands to reason to believe that if companies were  granted these license's in 2011 then there is a strong possibility they were also being granted these licenses during the Iraq war, despite these  weapons being banned by international treaties & indeed, the whole basis around which the rhetoric promoting the Iraq war was "sold " to the public.

I like many other people in the UK, & indeed the rest of the world, believe Tony Blair has been shown to have behaved not only wrongly, immorally & unethically in regard of the Iraq war, but criminally, and I believe parliament has a duty to hold him accountable with regard to criminal activities & behaviors with regard to Iraq & Afghanistan wars.
I don't believe the Chilcot inquiry did this, although it did provide substantial evidance to support that Mr Blair's behaviors & indeed evidance was unreliable.

I believe MP's have a duty to the nation to hold accountable mal practice & criminal practice by members of government, and that this duty should take priority over any party loyalty to individual leaders or indeed party policy.

In the case of war crimes & chemical weapons the safety, protection & rights of civilians, of the people is paramount, and those involved in violating these fundamental rights & safety must be held accountable no matter what position they have held in government , as is reflected in the fact that the International Criminal Court, in the Hague exists to hold those who commit crimes against humanity accountable.

With this in mind, I now urge you to take the appropriate steps to insure accountability & transparency from government regarding these licenses pertaining to chemical weapons & compounds used to produce them & their sales abroad, and I further urge you to insure that this investigation includes looking back over the granting of these licenses, during and under Tony Blairs leadership, because it is & was every bit a dangerous, irresponsible & unethical to have been granting these licenses then, via the defense department, as it is now,  particularly given the pretext that the UK, under the leadership of Blair went to war in Iraq because Blair was insistent that Sudam Hussian had chemical weapons and planned to use them on his people. One has to asked was Mr Blair so hell bent and insistent because he was aware that UK had granted the lisence for the sale of these weapons.

There has been way to many lies & deceptions in recent years by governments, including the former labor government, regarding issues of war & war crimes, that have caused way to many losses of life both to civilians of the countries were the UK, with its allies have intervened,  and indeed causeing loss to British troops & their families in addition to the thousands who have been injured & displaced.

It is time for individual MP's like yourself, who represent the people of the UK, to do the correct thing by their constituents instead of giving lip service in order to gain votes,
it is time for individual MP's to hold government accountable for the lies cover-ups and deceptions they have inflicted on the people they are meant to represent over the last 3 decades,
It is time for MP's to level with the public and hold criminals in government involved in unethical behaviors & war crimes accountable,
With this in mind,I again urge you to insure that those involved with these latest chemical weapons revelations are held accountable &  made face criminal proceedings,( the sale of chemical weapon is I believe illegal under international law)
AND,
Additionally I urge you to insure  Tony Blair is subject of criminal inquiry regarding his part in war crimes reflected by evidance of recent years regarding his behaviors and involvement regarding Iraq & Afghan wars, irrespective of personal loyalty you may have to your former leader, and party and in your role as a MP with a duty of care and responsibility to represent constituents like myself .

Yours Sincerely,

June MacKendrick

Thank you for your email to Ed Miliband regarding Syria.

The death of hundreds of Syrian civilians from a suspected chemical weapons attack last week is abhorrent and cannot be ignored. The attacks were a moral outrage and the use of chemical weapons rightly demands condemnation by the international community.

While Labour condemns the attacks and the on-going violence in Syria, the decision to use military force is a grave one, and one that must be made in the right way. That is why Ed Miliband moved an amendment to set out a clear and legitimate roadmap to a decision on military action. Labour’s amendment would have required any action to have a clear legal basis in international law, clear and achievable military objectives, and to be limited to deterring the future use of chemical weapons. We are determined to avoid the mistakes that were made with Iraq over ten years ago.

Members of Parliament on both sides of the House voted to prevent David Cameron rushing into a military conflict when so many questions remain unanswered. In response, the Government have announced that Britain will not be involved in any military action in Syria. But we will not let the Government wash its hands of the issue - there are other diplomatic and humanitarian means to help the people of Syria and the Government must use the G20 next week to galvanise international support to push forward a political settlement to the conflict in Syria.

Thank you again for getting touch with Ed Miliband to share your views.

Kind regards,
R Davis

Subject: chemical weapons

Mr Donahue,
I am sure by now you will  be aware of my deep various concerns with regard to the present government
& their behavior since taking power.

So I am sure it will come as no shock that I have particular concerns about  their policies regarding the sales of weapons, at a time when so many people, in so many places, are falling victim of these weapons our government is selling, to often, unstable regimes & countries with very poor human rights records.

I have today read in the papers that Vince Cables office , The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, granted licenses in January 2012, to unnamed companies 10 months after the Syrian uprising began, at a time when we had seen David Cameron brokering arms deal in Saudi Arabia & Qatar, nations who have much to gain from war in Syria the wider region, and who are said to be backing some very extremist groups involved with the rebel factions, on top of which we have heard, stories & seen reports from many internet sources &  film recordings of some extremely beastly behaviors by some of these extremist rebels as scribed by George Galloway in his recent house of commons speech.

Once I again I urge you to take the correct steps within your duty to your constituents, & the people of the UK to hold cabinet & indeed all of those accountable as to why & how,  these negligent behaviors happened, and make request that you will add your voice & support  to those  of Dunfermline and West Fife Labour MP Thomas Docherty , plans to lodge Parliamentary questions tomorrow and write to Cable, & The SNP’s leader at Westminster, Angus Robertson MP, who is reported to have said: he will be raising this in Parliament as soon as possible to find out what examination the UK Government made of where these chemicals were going and what they were to be used for.

I think it is important that there is cross party support  for any MP who is taking the bold steps to actually challenge & demand answers from this government on behalf of the people of this country who they represent.

Their have been way too many exposures in recent months of this governments back handed & behind closed doors deals, to the determent of this country & others, & in light of the many revelations we now know about the Iraq war & Afghanistan involvement & war crimes, as disclosed by PFC Manning whistleblower in cooperation with Wikileaks , the Guardian , Des Spegal & the NYT, that have been shown to reflect our governments participation & knowledge of war crimes  & human rights violations.
Additionally, we have seen great steps being taken by this movement to restrict the free flow of information, journalism & freedom of speech thru gagging orders, disclose of harassment & arrests of journalist & media sources involved in challenging & questioning governments behavior & revelations of government spying on the personal lives of public and each other ...
this I believe, Mr Donahue ,is a very dangerous sign in a governments behavoir , nor is it in the best interest of the people, both at home & abroad.

I hope you will urge your party leader and other members of your party to Join with Mr Docherty & Mr Roberson in demanding explanations and answers & in insuring that any one or company involved in inappropriate buisness, political or ethic practice in regard to these licenses and sales of chemical,l that have the potential to be of a danger to life as a weapon , be made face the appropriate legal proceedings & that includes holding David Cameron accountable for these highly ethically questionable buisness deals be has been brokering with Saudi Arabia & Qatar.

Again, let me thank you for your part in securing the vote to prevent the PM taking us in to yet another war, in which thousands more would have died.
I hope you will continue to insure that this government is prevented form being involved in the loss of any more civilians or indeed the Uk troops lives or injuries.

yours sincerely ,
june mackendrick
