in defence of RUSSEL BRAND

i'm gonna keep this fairly short...

I'v noticed in the last few weeks, since Russel Brand spoke out publicly against governments & the corporate masters who pull their strings, that Russel has become the latest "victim" of the self proclaimed Political know all's in media, with comments regarding his personal income, his past personal struggles & victory over drug addiction & indeed, just general attacks on his "ability " to comment.

Firstly, Russel Brand has a RIGHT to air his views publicly about issues that concern him according to (article 10) of the Human Rights act 1998, http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1998/42/schedule/1

Additionally he has a RIGHT to, Freedom of thought, conscience and religion. according (article 9) of the same act .

& he also has a RIGHT to, Prohibition of discrimination (article 14) Prohibition of abuse of rights (article 17) & Limitation on use of restrictions on rights (article 18).

Indeed isn't it abuse of these very right , which Prime Minister  David Cameron has vowed to rip up that Russel is speaking out to protect.

Russel Brand is a man who has come through the system, indeed he is a prime example of someone who has learned from mistakes of his past.

I believe Russel Brand is not only a very kind & genuine man, but also, a very intelligent,  talented & eloquent man with a very sincere social consciousness, & what better MOD for him to serve the people who have helped him become the popular  celebrity that he is with their support, & his personal ethic, than to raise awareness of these very important issues which he now speaks out about and brings into public consciousness & debate, an action that both government & the corporate masters would , I have no doubt, prefer he was silenced in regard of.

It is to be expected that smug tight arsed mainstream journalists like Tom Chivers  The Telegraph's assistant editor, who all to often pumps the conservative line would describe the present system that is destroying the lives of not just people here in the UK but around the globe as "our imperfect but broadly OK system"

In his article following Russel's interview with Jeremy Paxton shivers ends the article with the following statement.

"Tearing our imperfect but broadly OK system up to replace it with "a socialist egalitarian system based on massive redistribution of wealth" would stick a spanner in all that. Generally speaking, revolutions are terrible ideas. If you want to make things better, Russell, vote for the least worst option, obey the law, and form a political party that campaigns for what you think needs to change. Don't rip it all up and start again, because basically, it's not that bad."

Interesting that Mr Chivers, who no doubt receives a comfortable retainer & employment package from the  Telegraph believes that a system that allows MP'S to claim heating & utility bills, mortgages & maintenance of second homes & food allowances from their parliamentary expenses which often they rent out for large fees,as his paper commendable exposed, "is broadly ok" while pensioners who have paid into that system all their life's are being hounded out of their family homes they have lived in for years because they have a spare bedroom, & scrimp on  pensions & benefits choosing between eating or heating?

In conclusion, I think it is important to remember that through-out history it has been reflected, that while those who choose to peruse careers as professional politicians reap the benefits of power & glory & extra salary top ups by writing propaganda interest stories in line with  their particular parties ideology like those who fill the pages of the Telegraph, like Boris Johnston & many others who are paid to write columns in the various newspapers & political interest TV media slots, like Diane Abott labor MP & former cabinet member, despite their generous salaries & expenses subsidized by tax payers.

While it is the popular artists, whatever their particular art, be it music & song, dance, drama , literature , poetry,  film or comedy that tell the true story of political oppression & of  social culture, ecconomic welfare & other every day every which way issues that affect the public , the masses.

It is indeed good men & woman like Russel Brand & those who the public choose to raise to celebrity status because they like what they do & what they say. People who came to be celebrated because they have earned the respect & love of the masses, celebrities who often give of their time, their talent & indeed their personal wealth in order to better the lives of the ordinary people & to raise awareness of the important issue that affect them directly as a failure of the so called powerful, the elites puppets in parliament & government whos strings are pulled by their corporate allies who are interested in only what its worth & whats in it for them.

& to end on a personal not Russel , I love you, keep up the good work , via the revolution, you handsome intelligent sexy man!.
